AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force cornerback and kick returner Reggie Rembert has been suspended for an undisclosed violation of school standards.
Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Brett Ashworth declined to specify the infraction or the length of the suspension, saying that would violate federal privacy laws.
School officials confirmed the suspension Wednesday. It was first reported by The Gazette of Colorado Springs.
Air Force said Rembert and coach Troy Calhoun did not want to comment.
Rembert, a sophomore, led the Falcons with three interceptions and 943 all-purpose yards last season. He started all 13 games at cornerback.
