WEB UPDATE: Averill retains school board seat

Maureen Averill retained her seat on the Bigfork School Board of Trustees in Tuesday's election, defeating challenger Rodney Driver.

The unofficial preliminary results showed Averill garnering 284 votes to Driver's 187.In the Bigfork Fire Department Board of Trustee election, Ivan Barnes and Tracy Norred came out on top for the pair of seats with 423 votes and 489 votes, respectively. Tony Rojo garnered 414 votes.  More information will be available in next week's Bigfork Eagle.
