Woodrow Garrison "Woody" Hutchens Jr.

Woody Hutchens went to "Live with Jesus' on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009. Woodrow Garrison Hutchens Jr., was born Feb. 6, 1946, in Staunton, Va., to Woodrow G. and Glenna M. (Wine) Hutchens of Greenville, Va. He attended grade school and high school there.

He joined the Air Force after graduating in 1964. He was later stationed at a small radar station in Lakeside, Mt. where he met his wife K.C. He was discharged from the Air Force in 1968. Woodrow and Katherine E. Cullen were married in 1968 and lived in Somers. Woody then went to work at Anaconda Aluminum that same year. They then moved to Columbia Falls to the family residence in 1978.

Woody was an avid motorcyclist, he loved bow hunting as well as bow fishing carp, antelope and deer with his "brother" Tim of Gillette, Wyo. He enjoyed rifle hunting as well, especially for elk. For years the family enjoyed old car restoration. Woody also enjoyed collecting anything old.

Woody was preceded in death by an infant daughter Dixie Lee; his father Woodrow; and his brother Houston. Woody is survived by his mother Glenna; sister Mildred Simmons and her family all of Virginia; his wife K.C. of the family home, son Butch, his wife Nova Lee and their sons Daniel and Jacob; his daughter Katy Jo and her sweetie Greg Phippen all of Columbia Falls; his acquired children T.J. and Carol Toavs and son Tyler of Kalispell; Chrissy Frerich and her daughters Brianna and Jayla all of Kalispell and many much loved brothers and sisters in-laws and too many good friends to count. Viewing was held at the Columbia Mortuary. With services held Oct. 21st, burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery.
