Mark Riffey of Rescue Marketing is the facilitator at a Brown Bag Series event Thursday, Sept. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Freedom Bank conference room in Columbia Falls. Riffey’s topic is, “Why (almost) every small business needs a Web site and how you can get one without getting ripped off.” There is no cost and everyone can bring a sack lunch.

Melby’s Home Interiors will host a Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours and open house on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Melby’s is located at 2620 9th St. W., near the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Hilltop Road. Chamber members and guests are invited to attend.

Tama Hader will again be teaching an eight-week Tai Chi class on Tuesday evenings at Glacier Gateway School in Columbia Falls. The classes will begin Sept. 22 and run through Nov. 10. Registration fee is $35 for each class. Contact Robin White at 892-6500 for a registration form.
