Obituary: John Cochran
John Cochran, 51, died Saturday Nov. 6,
2010, at his Coram residence.
John was born May 14, 1959 in Kalispell
to Richard and Jackie (Olmstead) Cochran.
He was raised in the Hungry Horse
Northwest area of Montana. John had a lifelong love of the
beautiful northwest mountains of Montana. He especially loved
fishing. When John wasn’t fishing, he could be found playing
dominos with friends.
John was preceded in death by his
mother, Jackie Cochran of Kalispell in 2001; brother, Chuck Mikel
of Spokane, Wash., in 2008; and his aunt, Betty Cochran of
Kalispell in 2009.
John is survived by his father, Richard
“Dick” Cochran of Kalispell; son, Kenan Pieterick, and fiancé, Kim,
of Columbia Falls; brothers, Jim Cochran of Kalispell, Joe Cochran
of Colbert, Wash., and Matt Guinard and wife, Kat, of Martin City;
sisters, Roberta “Cookie” Brauer and husband, Mike, of Spokane,
Wash., and Joyce Brauer and husband, Jeff Satnowski, of Elk, Wash.;
baby sister, Jackie “Jay” Owens and husband, Bob, of Ellensburg,
Wash.; three grandchildren, Trentin, Kealie, and Taylin of Columbia
Falls; Uncle David and Aunt Helen Cochran of Algona, Wash.; three
plus nephews and 10 plus nieces as well as numerous great nieces
and nephews.
A wake and benefit auction potluck will
be held at the Deer Lick Saloon in Martin City on Saturday, Dec. 4,
2010, at 2:30 p.m.
