Honor Death with Dignity Act

| December 22, 2010 1:00 AM

To the editor,

One of the blessings I’m most thankful for is knowing that I can die with dignity and freedom and compassion, if I so choose!

My heartfelt hope is that this freedom remains legal in Montana, as it is in Oregon and Washington.

My partner, who died in 2006, dearly wanted this compassionate freedom. Instead he, his family and his friends all had to suffer with him in his last months rather to celebrate with him for his decision to die with dignity and without government intervention.
