This year's Yeti Snowskate Jam held during Winter Carnival was the sixth year of the event and the most successful yet. The Snowkate Jam is planned for kids by kids and had 30 contestants this year.

Without the support of the businesses and families in Whitefish, we would not have been able to host such a great event. Special thanks to the Winter Carnival Committee, Whitefish Parks and Recreation and the Chamber of Commerce for working closely with us this year.

The following people gave of their time and energy to put the event together: Bjorn Ryan-Gorman, Alex Adams, Derek Janni, Matt Danczyk, Eric Ehlert, Joel Mallams, Jake Morrison, Alex Whitaker, Dusty Hosek, Paul Coats, Rick and Lori Adams, Russ and Linda Hobbs and Jimmy Deats at JD Thinning.

The following business provided us with cash and products: Stumptown Snowboards, Imagination Station, Midway Rental, Flathead Fish and Seafood, Whitefish Goldsmiths, Third Street Market, Dow's Custom Construction, Sportsman Ski Haus, Ambition Snowskates, Celebrate Party Rentals, North Valley Portables, Quickies, 2nd Street Pizza, Rocky Mountain Images, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and Wrap and Roll.

These businesses and volunteers are one of the things that make Whitefish such a special place to live. They give and give to our community and we couldn't have done it without them.
