Alvin Leon "Lee" Bridges

Alvin Leon "Lee" Bridges, 72, died in Eureka on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. He was born Aug. 12, 1937 at Roswell, N. M., to Charles and Beadie (Cross) Bridges. He married his high school sweetheart Sharon Tollefson on Dec. 22, 1956.

He was an avid outdoorsman; hunting and exploring his whole life. He was an outfitter and guide. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Beadie and a brother, Tommy.

Survivors include his best friend and wife Sharon Bridges; 6 children, Jodi and Mike King, Lisa Gerega, Lauri and Charles Chambers, Michael Lee Bridges, Gina and Frank Clarke, Jr., Michelle and Allen Ream; Grandpa to 18 grandchildren, Gage, Amber, Amanda, Andrea, Jacob, Ruth, Ben, Hannah, Daniel, Nathan, Josh, Jaycie, John, Rick, Jake, Brian, Jessica, Nicolas; 19 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters Bonnie and Bernice.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Eureka. Parish vigil and Rosary will be Friday, Feb. 12 at the church from 4-7 with Rosary starting at 7 p.m. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.
