Lauzon overall winner in ladies golf tourney

Barb Lauzon was the overall tournament champion at the Whitefish Lake Golf Club Ladies Association's annual Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament on July 12. She hit 80 over the day.

Sixty golfers from around Montana and southwestern Canada attended this year's tournament, which raised more than $1,000 for Providence Home, a rescue home for children who are wards of the court.

The tournament winners are:

First Flight — 1st low net, Diana Bartley; 2nd low net, Noel Watkins, Jean Johnson, Sherri Sonju (3-way tie); 1st low gross, Lois Marshall; 2nd low gross, Rosalie Meltzer; 3rd low gross, Jody Fee.

Second Flight — 1st low net, Joyce Grindle; 2nd low net, Marilyn Tate; 3rd low net, Judy Hansen; 1st low gross, Jan Arnet; 2nd low gross, Barb Hickman; 3rd low gross, Jenni Fangsrud.

Third Flight — 1st low net, Liz Maul; 2nd low net, Colleen Hutchins; 3rd low net, Arleine Hankins; 1st low gross, Willo Harris; 2nd low gross, Lori Feeman; 3rd low gross, Collette Olson.
