Muhlfeld goes wire-to-wire in 30-mile race

Clint Muhlfeld led wire-to-wire and edged Geoff Clark by two minutes in the third annual Granja del Cerdo mountain bike race July 17 at the Pig Farms trail system. Muhlfeld rides for the Sportsman Ski Haus cycling team.

The 15-mile course took riders on a mostly single-track route out and around Bower Lake.

Category 1 riders completed two laps, while Catetory 2-3 cyclists finished one.

Jessica Noyola was the lone Cat 1 women and tallied a time of 3:08:30.

David Landstrom was the fastest Cat 2 male with a 1:22:08, ahead of Aaron Johnson. Brenda Winkler led Cat 2 women with a 1:48:30.
