'Robinson Crusoe' on stage this weekend

The Missoula Children's Theatre in association with the Somers Parent-Teacher Association will put on performances of "Robinson Crusoe" this Saturday, March 13.

The theatre's touring project has been working with area students since Monday.

Approximately 60 kids in grades kindergarten through eighth were cast in the show and have been rehearsing after school throughout the week.

This is the 27th year the children's theatre has come to Somers to work with local kids.

Performances will be at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Somers Middle School. Costs are $5 for adults and $2 for children.

The PTA will also be raffling a portrait session with Lakeside artist Sarah McConnell at the shows.
