Muldown Elementary School will hold its annual Mully Night Carnival on Thursday, March 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner, games and activities will be provided. Proceeds will be used for field trips and assemblies. Tickets will be sold on Mully Night.

Friday

The Whitefish Convention and Visitor Bureau will meet on Friday, March 26, at 3 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Lodge. For more information, call 862 3390.

The Ray Of Hope homeless shelter will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the First Presbyterian Church, on Main Street in Kalispell, on Friday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m. The shelter currently houses 16 people. Dinner is $6 per person, $3 for children under-6.

Saturday

The annual Flathead Audubon trip to the Freezeout Lake Wildlife Management Area, south of Choteau, to observe the migration of snow geese will take place Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28. As many as 400,000 snow geese stop at this wetland complex and surrounding barley fields to rest and refuel on their trip to Arctic nesting areas. Participants will meet in the Super 1 parking lot in Kalispell at 10 a.m. on Saturday to caravan and carpool to Choteau. Sunday

Montana Old Time Fiddlers will hold a public jam at the Kalispell Eagles Club on Sunday, March 28, from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Cover charge is $3 non-members of the association, $2 non-playing members and free for playing members.

An open house on the Spencer Lake Timber Sale will be hosted by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation in the Whitefish Public Library’s meeting room on Tuesday, March 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Maps will be on display to show potential harvest unit locations, road locations, and proposed silvicultural prescriptions. DNRC staff will be present to answer questions.

The Flathead Building Association will hold its Raise The Roof social at 4West Cabinetry and Wallbeds, 2593 U.S. 2 East, in Evergreen, on Tuesday, March 30, at 5 p.m. with live music and catering by Montana Coffee Traders.

Wednesday

The Whitefish Library Book Discussion Group will meet in the library meeting room on Wednesday, March 31, at 7 p.m. to discuss “People of the Book,” by Geraldine Brooks. The book for April 28 will be “The Pagan Christ,” by Tom Harpur, and the book for May 26 will be “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao,” by Junot Diaz. For more information, call 862-6657.
