Saturday

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s fourth annual Pond Skim event will take place on Saturday, April 3, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Competitors will ski or snowboard down the Middle Fork run to an 80-foot long pond constructed next to the base of Chair 1. First place for longest skim will pay out $1,000. Awards also will be given for best splash and best costume. As many as 2,000 spectators have showed up at past events.

The Mountain Mall in Whitefish will offer an Easter Kiddie Carnival on Saturday April 3, from 2-4 p.m. featuring photos with the Easter Bunny, tricks by Dan the Magic Man, a giant bounce house and lots of prizes.

Sunday

An Easter egg hunt will take place for children under-15 at Depot Park in Whitefish on Sunday, April 4, begining at 2 p.m. About 9,000 plastic eggs have been filled with naturally-sweetened candies, toys and prizes.
