Energy policy

| May 20, 2010 11:00 PM

Isn't it time we did something about re-powering America? Most assuredly, we consumers are playing a part in global warming. Most of us are dependent on fossil fuels for energy. I drive a vehicle, heat and light my home and office, and I bet most of you do also.

With an oil well environmental disaster looming in the Gulf of Mexico and recent coal mining deaths in West Virginia, none of us can think we can continue down the same energy path we have been on.

We Americans are innovative, resourceful and resilient. I know we can come up with solutions that will sustain us while protecting our environment. Please urge Sens. Max Baucus and Jon Tester to support a change of direction for our energy future by voting for a clean energy bill. Write to:

U.S. Senator Jon Tester, 724 Hart Senator Office Building, Washington, DC 20510, 800-554-4403, http://tester.senate.gov.
