Bonnie Quiram

Bonnie June (Mackaman) Quiram left her wheelchair behind and walked into Heaven on Oct. 1, 2010, at Heritage Place in Kalispell.

Bonnie was born Aug. 14, 1932, to Lody and Flora Mackaman in Bemidji, Minn. She married Harold “Jug” Quiram on Aug. 23, 1948, in Whitefish. They had three children, Gale, Floyd and Sherman.

For many years, Bonnie was an active member of Extension Homemakers, Cowbells, 4-H and her church. She liked to crochet, knit, garden, fish, camp, stay at their North Fork cabin, drive through Glacier National Park, and visit the beach on trips to the Washington coast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Sam, Dan and Larry, and sister Margaret Stai.

Bonnie is survived by her sister Ruth Wentworth; daughter Gale Fransen and husband Steve; sons Floyd Quiram and wife Sandy and Sherman Quiram and wife Patty;  grandchildren Scott Fransen and wife Mary, Heidi Bush and husband Stephen, Shannon Graf and husband David, Kelly Gaugler and husband Danie, Taylor Quiram and wife Frannie, and Walker Quiram.

Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the local 4-H program.

A memorial service will be held at the Austin Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 , at 2 p.m.
