If you liked the Glacier National Park quarter, you'll really like this coin - provided you have the nearly $300 it could cost to get one.

The U.S. Mint recently announced a Glacier Park five-ounce pure silver coin will become available Oct. 25. The large coin will not be circulated and will not be available at banks and other outlets.

Those interested in buying one can contact the U.S. Mint online at www.usmint.gov or by calling 1-800-USA-Mint (872-6468).

The new coin is part of the America the Beautiful uncirculated coin series. It features a scene of a mountain goat in front of Mount Reynolds. Like the quarter, the silver coin will be part of a limited edition. The Mint recently released a Gettysburg coin that initially sold for $279.95 before sales were suspended because of the volatility of the silver market.
