Kats scratch Lady Loggers

The Columbia Falls girls tennis team downed Libby on April 17 by 5-2, but they had a tough time against Glacier High School, losing 7-1.

Against Libby, Gabrielle Stenger dispatched Kaya Hardgrove 6-2, 7-5 as the girls swept the Lady Loggers in singles play.

Natalie Law, Emma Covill and Hailey Sapa all notched victories.

Against the Wolfpack, Covill got the lone victory, beating Briahna Bennett 6-1, 6-0.

The Wildkats were also scheduled to play Dillon over the weekend, but no results were available at presstime.

The Kats had a make-up match against Whitefish on Tuesday after presstime. They next play Polson on May 5 in Polson.
