Rick and Mary Kratz celebrate 50 years

Rick and Mary Kratz celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 24. They were married in 1962 at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Berwyn, Alberta. For the past 21 years, they have split their time between Whitefish and Palm Desert, Calif.

They have two children, Miriam Lewis (Kurt) of Whitefish and Luke Kratz (Lisa) of Victoria, B.C. They take great joy in their four grandchildren, Hanna and Delaney Lewis, and Gavin and Lachlan Kratz.

They celebrated their 50 years with their immediate family in April in Palm Desert.
