Of wolves and elk

| January 4, 2012 8:16 AM

First, I must say that Mr. Rabidue sent a great letter, and I would be very proud to say that I believe and support his pipeline and jobs letter. So now I would like to give my input to a couple of things that I just could not get the time, so here it is.

So this letter is about some of the stupid things I have heard in the news. This is about the wolves and the elk. If I remember right, I believe that it was said that the wolves were killing some elk. Now, how is that? Let me guess - I know, the wolves asked the elks to dinner and then what? Poisoned them?

So here is what it is - if a wolf can take down an elk, it was not a healthy elk. It is called or seen as just nature. That is it in the wilderness. It is what happens.

Do any of you ever wonder why the game we hunt is so good and healthy? Well, that is how the weak and ill will be eaten. It is all natural.

And here is something else you just might think about. If all of the wolves are killed off, then that just leaves badgers and wolverines. Believe me when I say that you really do not want them. The wolves are just cute puppies. And the big game that you hunt for food will not be as clean.
