Sax concert
Sax–O–Phun, a versatile sax quartet with an expanded repertoire, will perform at the Columbia Falls Lions Club Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 12. The one-hour concerts are held weekly at the Don Lawrence Amphitheater in Marantette Park, in Columbia Falls, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Donations of $3 per person or $5 per family are requested. The audience is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.
Horse racing
A total of 493 competitors have registered to compete in the 11th annual Event at Rebecca Farm on July 12-15, the largest equestrian triathlon in the U.S. Many of the world’s best horses and riders, as well as promising young competitors, will compete in dressage, show jumping and cross-country in a combined triathlon. Organizers expect about 20,000 spectators over the four days. Admission for spectators is free. A $5 parking donation will be collected each day to help support “Halt Cancer at X.” Access Rebecca Farm from West Reserve Drive in Kalispell, two miles west to Springcreek Road, the entrance is on the right about three-quarters of a mile south on Springcreek Road. Brewfest fundraiser
Brewfest 2012, a fundraiser for the Gateway to Glacier Trail organization, will take place at the Heavens Peak Restaurant in West Glacier on Saturday, July 14, from 5 to 10 p.m. The group’s goal is to build a separated bike path along U.S. 2 from Coram to West Glacier. Tickets are $15 in advance available at the Stonefly Lounge or $20 at the door. The event will feature eight Montana breweries, live music, food and vendors. School reunion
The Canyon View Grade School Multi School Reunion Picnic will be held at Bohemian Grange on U.S. 93, behind Coffee Traders, on Saturday, July 14, beginning with set up at 11 and dining at 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a hot or cold dish, silverware, plates and something to drink. Coffee and tea will be furnished. Teachers and students who attended Canyon View, Valentine, Halfmoon, Lasalle, Birch Grove, Deer Park, Lake Blaine, Bissell and Helena Flats schools through 1970 are encouraged to attend, along with spouses, friends, grandchildren and other relatives. Garden tours

Car show
The fourth annual Glacier Rally in the Rockies parade and car and motorcycle show and shine will be heldin downtown Kalispell on Saturday, July 21, with the parade beginning at 10 a.m. Classic vehicles 1975 and older, and motorcycles of all years, will park on First Avenue West. There will be drawings, a walking poker run and other special activities for participants. Car and motorcycle registration costs $40 per vehicle.
