Donald Negri

Donald Warren Negri, 83, of Somers, died Oct. 13, 2012, at home.

He was born June 27, 1929, to Catherine and John A. Negri, in Seattle.

He served in the military from 1948 to 1953 with the Navy Reserve, Merchant Marines and Coast Guard/Geodetic Survey. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Donald married Beverly Blackwell on July 14, 1951.

Donald is survived by his children James Negri and wife Carol, of Sacramento, Calif., Joan Barrow and husband Dennis, of Columbia Falls, Howard Negri, of Kalispell, and Donald Negri and wife Kristy, of Whitefish; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister Donna Heagy, of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Pope John Paul II Catholic Church, 195 Coverdell Road, in Bigfork, on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 9 a.m.
