Children's Theater seeks performers for 'A Christmas Carol'

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites students in grades 3-12 and adults of any age to audition for the fourth annual production of “A Christmas Carol.”

Auditions will be held at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Afterschool Arts Center, 833 Grand Ave., on Tuesday Nov. 20 from 4-5 p.m. for grades 3-4, from 5-6:30 p.m. for grades 5-7 and from 6:30-8 p.m. for eighth-graders through adults.

This production calls for a medium-sized cast and costs nothing to audition. There is a $40 fee to participate in the production if cast in the show. Auditioners should prepare a 30-second monologue or selection from another play or book, and plan to learn and sing something for the audition as well.

For those without experience or are unable to find something to prepare, materials will be available at the center. Tentative rehearsal schedules will be at the auditions.

Technical assistance for the production is needed as well.

Performances are set for Dec 14-16, 21 and 22.
