Holiday ballet performance Dec. 1-2

The Noble Dance Performing Company will present Winter Celebration 2012 at the Whitefish Middle School auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m.

The company of advanced dancers hold the majority of the roles, and invited beginning, intermediate and Storybook dancers will fill in minor roles, along with Amy Arriaga’s Dance Elements.

The performance will feature Clara’s Dream, an original ballet created by director Natalie Molter, who has put a twist on an old holiday classic blending ballet, hip hop and contemporary dance styles set to excerpts from both Duke Ellington and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suites.
