FVCC offers dual credits
Flathead Valley Community College will host an informational session on its Running Start program on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus.
The Running Start program provides eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get an affordable start on their college education by earning college credits while still in high school. Some courses offer dual credit opportunities, which allows students to gain high school and college credits simultaneously.
The Running Start program provides in-district high school students the first six Running Start credits at no cost in tuition and institutional fees. Subsequent credits are offered at a significantly reduced cost.
Running Start registration for spring semester at FVCC will begin Dec. 11. Courses will begin Jan. 22, 2013.
