Schorzman and Bruce to marry

Stephen and Carla Bruce, of Whitefish, Randy Schorzman, of Odessa, Wash., and Jim and Sue Burden of Cheney, Wash., announce the engagement of their children, Jamie Lynn Bruce and Bart Jonathan Schorzman.

The bride-elect grew up in Whitefish, received a bachelor’s degree in health enhancement education at Montana State University, and has been working in college campus ministry for the last six years at the University of Montana with Campus Crusade for Christ. She is newly employed at Eastern Washington University in Cheney with the same organization, bringing the message of Christ to college students.

Her fiancé, Bart, is a lead carpenter with Integrity Remodeling of Spokane, Wash., and also a volunteer fireman and emergency medical responder for Fire Disctrict 3 in Cheney.  

The wedding will take place in Spokane on Oct. 27, 2012.
