In recent weeks I have had many north Lake County citizens approach me regarding the sample ballots they received in the mail recently. They’ve commented on the amount of candidates for Lake County Justice of the Peace and the confusion this has caused due to so many names being unfamiliar.

I would like to express that I fully support candidate Steven R. Kendley for Justice of the Peace. Kendley has been a Lake County resident for over 30 years and has worked most of his life in the private sector.

In the past dozen or more years, Kendley has worked in public service in roles as a youth court officer, police officer, Sheriff’s deputy, domestic violence detective, and school resource officer. Kendley is a very kind and devoted family man and will serve the citizens of Lake County well as an objective, committed, and common sense judge.

Furthermore, I have worked along side him in his roles as a public servant and witnessed that he has what it takes to make difficult decisions while under immense scrutiny. Please cast your ballot for Steven R. Kendley for Justice of the Peace on Election Day.

Ben Woods,
