Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Warden Sgt. Nathan Reiner is seeking information on two poaching incidents that took place late in the general big game hunting season.

A cow elk was shot and left to waste near Highway 83 and Soup Creek Road, in the Swan Valley, in the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 22, or in the early morning hours the next day.

Someone also shot and left to waste two whitetail bucks on Kuhns Road on the night of Saturday, Nov. 30, or in the early morning hours the next day. The suspect vehicle in this case may be a dark-colored sedan, possibly dark blue.

Anyone with any information on either of these cases is asked to call 1-800-TIPMONT (1-800-847-6668) or to call Reiner at 751-4592.
