Esther Green

Esther (Tyke) Lucille Costich Aubert Green, 91, died Dec. 4, 2013, at her home in Overton, Nev.

She was born April 15, 1922, in Eureka to Frank and Loretta Costich. She grew up in Eureka and graduated there. During World War II, she moved to Seattle, Wash., and worked in a yarn factory.

She married George Aubert, of Browning, on July 23, 1945. They raised their son and four daughters outside of Columbia Falls and had their Campfire Memories business there.

Tyke met Larry Green in Whitefish, and they were married on July 20, 1978, in Kalispell. They later moved to Overton, Nev.

She was preceded in death by her baby sister Frances Marie, who lived only three days; parents Frank and Loretta; brother Tom; husband George Aubert; and son Jon Aubert.

She is survived by her adoring husband Larry Green, of Overton, Nev.; her daughters Lyndell Mace and husband Cyrus, of Overton, Lori Radabah and husband Carl, of Coram, Sylvia Huguley and husband Gary, of Swan Lake, and Teresa (Teri) Johnson and husband Mike, of Whitefish; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“She was Super-Mamaw.”

A memorial service will be held next summer.
