Police calls: Suspicious man walking with ax
Monday, Jan. 28
2:46 p.m. A 13-year-old boy reportedly brought a pocket knife to school. The school principal and an officer counseled the boy about the serious nature of the incident. The knife was confiscated.
6:07 p.m. A dog was heard howling in a car parked on Wisconsin Avenue. The dog had reportedly been in the car for three hours.
10:35 p.m. A man was seen walking on West Second Street with an ax over his shoulder. The man had just purchased the ax and was taking it home.
Tuesday, Jan. 29
4:37 p.m. A business owner on Central Avenue was reportedly being harassed by a tenant vacating an apartment.
7:21 p.m. A woman told police a light was on in her garage. She was unable to walk and asked police to check it out. It was the dome light in her car.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
10 p.m. An intoxicated man was stumbling into traffic along Spokane Avenue.
10:04 p.m. A woman asked police where she could find shelter for the night. She was unable to go home.
11:45 p.m. Missoula police were attempting to make contact with the parents of a 17-year-old boy from Whitefish who reportedly took some type of acid and broke windows.
Thursday, Jan. 31
9:43 p.m. The alarm on a piece of construction equipment was going off on Greenwood Drive. The caller reported seeing sparks flying out of the machine.
10:43 p.m. A man in boots and jeans was breaking things at a bar on Central Avenue.

12:56 a.m. Sixteen people were seen getting into a taxi.
8:37 p.m. A hit and run was reported on U.S. 93 South.
Saturday, Feb. 2
3:09 a.m. A Honda CRV was reported stolen on Lupfer Avenue. The vehicle was later found around the corner.
3:35 p.m. A man was upset about his vehicle being towed. He went into a restaurant for a burger and beer and came out and his vehicle was gone.
6:07 p.m. A man dressed in all black wearing a cowboy hat was seen stumbling into traffic on U.S. 93 South.
7:52 p.m. A wallet was stolen on Central Avenue.
8:07 p.m. An intoxicated man downtown was counseled on where to use the bathroom.
10:26 p.m. An intoxicated man was trying to start fights at a bar on Baker Avenue.
11:55 p.m. An intoxicated man was seen swaying back and forth talking to himself.
Sunday, Feb. 3
12:24 a.m. A man asked police to removed his girlfriend from his home on Washington Avenue.
2:26 a.m. A group of 20 people were in the street challenging each other to fight.
3:21 a.m. Kids were knocking on doors at a hotel on U.S. 93 West.
11 a.m. A couple was seen having sex in a pickup truck parked on Colorado Avenue.
12:15 p.m. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Central Avenue.
Monday, Feb. 4
1:11 a.m. A woman said her husband was intoxicated and drove their car into a ditch.
3:05 a.m. A woman was hiding in the bathroom from a friend.
