America needs bipartisanship
It must be very frustrating to the Republican Party to have a fellow such as Barack Obama as president and present head of the Democratic Party.
It seems that their frustration has grown to such ludicrous proportions, and the fact that they are not able to “lay a glove” on Obama has caused such anger, that they are willing to actually put rejection of all Obama’s ideas, put total partisan politics ahead of duty, put America at risk, and put all this ahead of attempting to move our nation forward both domestically and globally.
Well, let’s see what the next few years will bring. But unless attitudes in Washington D.C. change from willful attack and fear to wisdom and cooperation, we are in for a very rocky ride in my view.
I do believe part of the answer lies with us, with “we the people,” being willing to speak out for sensible and forward thinking bipartisan legislating, which is so necessary for “America the Beautiful.”
