Betty Fields

Betty Ann Fields, 84, passed away at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell on Dec. 27, 2012, with her family at her side.

She was born to Claire and Amanda Coutts on April 2, 1928. She was raised and schooled in Mobridge, S.D. After high school, she went to California where she attended business school and worked for Goodyear Tire Co.

Betty’s first husband, Joseph M. Becker, was killed in the Korean War. She later married Lile L. Fields. They lived in California until 1964, when they moved to Kalispell, where she helped her husband ranch and farm, and raise their family.

She is survived by daughters Barbara Domgard, of Kalispell, and Pam Clarke and husband Harold, of Columbia Falls; son John Fields, of Bigfork; grandchildren Brad Townsend and wife Destiny, of Kalispell, and Jessica Young and fiancé Shane, of Oklahoma; four great grandchildren; and many more family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place in the spring. Cards may be send to 218 Edgewood Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901.
