Montana State University announced last week which of their students made the President’s and Dean’s honor rolls for the fall 2012 semester.

Students on each list had to be complete a minimum of 12 credit hours. The President’s Honor Roll had 710 students with a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. The Dean’s Honor Roll included 2,646 students with grade point averages above 3.5 for the semester.

Frequently students and parents inquiring about omissions are unaware of the 12-hour credit requirement. Also, many students provide the university with their local Bozeman address instead of their Montana hometown address and, therefore, appear on the Bozeman or Belgrade lists.

Questions regarding the list, or omissions, can be answered by the MSU-Bozeman office at 994-1966.

Local students named to MSU’s President’s or Dean’s lists, ordered according to their hometowns, include:

• Dean’s list — John Meuli

Lakeside

• Dean’s list — James Corwin, Katherine Kerr, Morgan Shaeffer, Trever Swelland and Hannah Wahlert

Ronan
