Lighthouse Christian Home Fundraiser
The Lighthouse Christian Home’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Valentine’s Day swing dance and auction, is set for Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel in Kalispell.
Tickets can be purchased at Bigfork Drug in Bigfork, Southside Consignment and Snappys in Kalispell, Glacier Bank and Sam McGoughs in Whitefish or by calling the Lighthouse at 857-3276.
Mardi Gras Chili Feed
John Paul II Church will hold their annual Mardi Gras celebration on Sunday Feb. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Activities include bingo, children’s carnival, silent and live auctions.
The event is open to the public and all proceeds benefit the Parish Youth. There is no cost to join in the fun, but salads or desserts to share with other attendees will be accepted.

Old Time Fiddlers
The Montana Old Time Fiddlers will hold their monthly gathering at the Bigfork Inn, 604 Electric Ave., on Saturday Feb. 9 from 2-5 p.m.
Fiddlers, guitarists and banjo players of all skill levels are welcome to play along, and listeners are welcome too.
New Music Association for Bigfork
The Bigfork Opera and Broadway Music Association’ formed to promote a greater interest “year round” Opera and Broadway Music ventures within the Bigfork area.
BOBMA members greatly appreciates these two musical outlets and requests talented musicians and singers contact this nonprofit association to promote Opera and Broadway Musicals.
There are no dues or fees.
Area children and adults interested in widening or sharing their musical and singing interests are invited to call Jerry Murphy 837-2459.
The BOBMA will not stage talent or acts. Music and singing teachers are invited to join.
Owney’s Restaurant in downtown Bigfork will host a BOBMA “no- charge” entertainment venue involving singers, musicians and a short musical skit on Saturday at 7 p.m.
AARP Driver Safety Class
NW Montana AARP Driver Safety Class will be held at the Bigfork Senior Center on Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 837-4157 to register.
