Is litter a decoration to you?

I am concerned with the littering going on in our state. A lot of animals get hurt and people find these creatures dying or hurt or even dead. It also affects how we live and what we do about it. I know you may not want to read this but please do, I didn’t write this for nothing, please read and listen to my words. And learn what we’re doing to us, our nature, and our world.

Is litter a decoration to you? To me it isn’t; to me it’s a struggle with death. People litter all the time and it ruins our beloved earth. It also hurts animals and decreases their population. Do you really want that to happen? Do you really want our earth to be so full of trash that we would have to build houses out of it and probably die if the animals go extinct? Litter needs to stop to save our planet. Our animals are also getting affected by litter.

Animals are amazing creatures that roam the earth with us. With litter around, they die and start to become extinct. Animals get attracted to garbage because with food wrappers on the ground, they smell it and come try to eat it. Then they swallow and choke. They can also get their tongues stuck in food cans or get stuck in plastic.

Some people even leave washing machines and dryers out in a field where a cow or bull, elk or bear can get their heads stuck and die of starvation. Some animals even eat glass and die because it cuts them. Would you like to swallow a piece of glass? Because I sure wouldn’t, and if I did I would go on strike to stop littering maybe so other animals won’t eat it.

Do you like taking the garbage out? Or finding garbage on your lawn or thrown around your house? Well, that’s what the earth is going to look like if we keep littering. Our houses would be made of garbage, even our clothes. And if we start realizing it too late, we would be buying air, having everything be plastic, and singing every morning. (Yes, I may be talking about the Lorax but, hey, it’s true that could happen)

And I’m serious about this. Soon enough, our world will just be a garbage yard, and there will be nothing we could do about it. Our world will become a disaster, and we’ll all die because there will be almost no food at all. Make a difference in the world and save our beautiful, amazing, extraordinary and astonishing world. Think about it.

I know it doesn’t seem like that big of deal, but if you think ahead of time and into the future, then you’ll be on the same track as I am. If you look littering up, then you’ll see just how bad it is already. If we don’t litter and recycle, then we will probably change the future and not make the earth more beautiful than ever. So think about it and what you can do. But a question I still ask, is litter a decoration to you?
