All state, all conference

A host of Columbia Falls basketball players and wrestlers recently were named to the all-state and all-conference teams.

All state and first team all conference basketball selections included senior Luke Kazlauskas and junior Jared Trinastich for the Wildcats, and junior Haley Belgarde and senior Hope Burlage for the Wildkats.

Winter Kemppainen also received first team all conference honors. Ciera Finberg, Andrea Getts and Alex Presnell received second team all conference honors. Tori Price and Ty Morgan were all conference honorable mentions.

Belgarde and Morgan were also named to the second all-tournament team at the Class A state tourney. Kazlauskas and Trinastich were honorable mentions at the state tourney.

Five members of the MatCats wrestling team were all state selections — Shonn Roberts, Cameron Linstead, Haze Bell, Seth McCall and Bryan Shaffer.

Eighteen wrestlers were all conference selections — Linstead, Roberts, Bell, McCall, Shaffer, Jordan Hughes, Cameron Goodwin, Kaleb Gravelin, Dalton Nelson, Josiah Osborne, Colton Gove, Chase Ramberg, Cody Walters, Jacob Burgess, Cameron Peterson, Aaron Vick, Matt Erhart and Spencer Ross.
