The Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell will host another mosaic project based on a photograph taken in Glacier National Park.

A photo of a mountain goat at Gunsight Pass taken by Bill Goodman will be enlarged and then divided into 300 two-by-two inch squares.

Participants can pay $2 for a 2-inch square canvas and a piece of the photograph and use any media, so long as it’s dry and permanent, to recreate that portion of the image.

The mosaic project so far has utilized photographs by Bret Bouda, Hungry Horse News photographer Chris Peterson and Hockaday communications director Brian Eklund.

The completed mosaic will be unveiled June 22 during the museum’s Plein Air Paint Out Party and Sale. For more information, call 755-5268 or visit online at www.hockadaymuseum.org.
