6:34 a.m. A resident on Somers Avenue suspected criminal mischief when he found the doors to his unlocked van wide open. Other vehicles on the block were also broken into.
6:50 a.m. A vehicle on Columbia Avenue was broken into.
12:22 p.m. A check book was stolen from a vehicle at the grocery store.
4:48 p.m. A broken light pole snapped cables over Spokane Avenue.
Tuesday, April 30
7:02 a.m. Excavation equipment at a job site on Miles Avenue was vandalized.
2:24 p.m. A tow truck driver found drug paraphernalia in a box that tipped over when he was picking up a vehicle on U.S. 93 South.
11:16 p.m. A night janitor yelled at a boy who was in the middle school band room after hours. The boy ran away.

4:18 p.m. Roses were suspiciously left on a resident’s porch on La Brie Drive.
6:42 p.m. Two kids were recklessly driving a go-cart.

12:42 a.m. A possible DUI was reported after a driver was seen going the wrong way on U.S. 93 South.
10:34 a.m. Someone at the mall wanted to know more about rumors he heard of a protest group.
Friday, May 3
6:19 a.m. A bear was seen in a tree on Wisconsin Avenue.
9:06 a.m. A woman was reportedly nearly hit by a reckless school bus in front of the high school.
10:10 a.m. Graffiti was reported on a building on Railway Street.
12:04 p.m. A goose and her goslings stopped traffic as they crossed U.S. 93 South near the old Wendy’s.
4:09 p.m. A resident had questions about a man who rides a horse and buggy around the River Lakes Parkway subdivision.
Saturday, May 4
12:16 a.m. A babysitter reported that the parents of the 2-year-old she was watching reeked of marijuana and alcohol when they came to pick up the child. She requested a welfare check.
10:36 p.m. A possible DUI was reported when a driver was seen stuck on a curb them almost hitting a restaurant’s barbecue grill on Wisconsin Avenue.
