C-Falls Veterans Day assembly scheduled
The National Honor Society of Columbia Falls High School will present the annual Veterans Day Assembly in the Columbia Falls High school gymnasium on Monday, Nov. 11, at 10:30 a.m. Seating will begin at 10 a.m.
This year’s program is free and open to the public and includes a special presentation honoring three local veterans as well as an opportunity to recognize the veterans from the Montana State Veterans Home who are in attendance.
Inspiring musical selections will be performed by Columbia Falls High School band and choir students.
Several local elementary students will read winning essays they composed for the event. There were two prompts for this year’s essay contest. The first was recommended for older students (grades four and five), as it is more difficult.
