The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre is inviting students in grades three through 12 and adults to audition for their annual holiday production.
This year the musical will be “One Magical Christmas Eve.”
Scrooge and the Grinch meet Santa and the ghosts of Christmas. Strong elements of “A Christmas Carol” and “The Gift of The Magi” are recognizable, with a score of traditional Christmas music that will make this a holiday extravaganza, producer Brach Thomson said.
Auditions for One Magical Christmas Eve will be at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Afterschool Arts Center Nov. 19 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for grades three and four, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for grades five through seven, and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for grades eight through adult.
There is a $40 fee to participate in the production if cast in the show. Performers should prepare a 30-second monologue or selection from another play or book, and plan to learn and sing something at the audition. Performances are Dec 13- 15, and Dec. 20-21.
