C-Falls spikers down Lady Pirates
The Columbia Falls volleyball team got another key conference win last week. The Wildkats dropped Polson in five games, 25-13, 19-25, 35-16, 22-25, 15-8 in Polson Oct. 24.
Carla Nicosia and Haley Belgarde each had 13 kills apiece. Freshman Cydney Finberg had 36 assists.
The conference win against the Lady Pirates puts the Kats in sole possession of second place at 5-2. Their only conference losses have come at the hands of Frenchtown, who is 6-0 in conference play and 10-1 overall.
The girls wrap up the regular season away Halloween night in Whitefish. Varsity start is about 7 p.m.
