Media filth

| August 25, 2014 8:26 AM

Media has been used throughout the decades to manipulate. If you watch TV or movies, you should be incredibly concerned and disturbed.

A sampling might include demonic activity, affairs, sex scandals, gay sex, gruesome crimes, evil “fairy tales,” child rape and murder. I don’t have to watch these shows to know I don’t want to pay to support their content.

Put your money where your morality is. If you don’t accept or condone this rubbish, then stop supporting the industry. Turn off your cable or satellite. Don’t support movies that aren’t fit to watch. Don’t demand to be entertained at any cost.

Maybe you “only watch the Hallmark Channel or news” or take friends with different viewpoints to certain movies to “start a dialogue.” It’s funny how these arguments seem logical, but would you buy and smoke pot with a friend to “open a dialogue” about drugs, or go to an adult entertainment shop to buy a negligee?

If we want change, we must stop supporting industries that are feeding us trash. How many of us would pay to have a garbage truck dump a load in our living room every night?

Please, if you care about this precious country, use this challenge as a start. Show the media and the government that you’re done swallowing whatever filth they’re trying to feed you. Start thinking for yourself and look for positive investments for your money and time.

I realize I’m asking a lot, but “with great privilege comes great responsibility.” Thank you.
