The Columbia Falls Night of Lights celebration will take place Friday, Dec. 5, starting with a craft fair at the Teakettle Community Room at 4 p.m. and the parade down Nucleus Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Floats should start lining up at the north end of the Nucleus beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Entry forms for the parade are available at www.columbiafallsrotary.com or at the Columbia Falls Branch Library, NAPA Auto Parts, Glacier Bank, Freedom Bank and Roger Newman’s dentist office.

Santa Claus will make an appearance at Teakettle Community Room after the parade. Music and the master of ceremonies will be in front of the Whitefish Credit Union this year. The Christmas Holiday Village in Marantette Park also will be lit that night.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Columbia Falls Rotary will hold its annual Brunch with Santa at Timber Creek Village from 9:30 a.m. to noon to benefit the Boys and Girls Club and local Rotary projects.

The event will feature a silent auction as well as food. Tickets are $10 adults at the door and free for 12 and under with an adult.
