The Glacier Symphony will present “Winter’s New World,” a concert featuring Antonin Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 9 in E,” also known as the “New World Symphony,” in the Flathead High School auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m.

One of most popular works in the Romantic symphony repertoire, the “New World Symphony” was the first piece of music to land on the moon.

Also included in the concert will be Edvard Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A,” with guest soloist Alon Goldstein making his return appearance to the Flathead Valley.

Tickets for adults are available in a range of seating tiers starting at $15. All youths through grade 12 will be admitted free.
