Canyon trail

Gateway to Glacier Trail sends a huge thank you to all who made our Pedal and Paddle Paths event a great success. Participants were treated to a fun afternoon of bicycling, rafting and good food. The turnout was greater than expected and we hope everyone had a good time. We hope to make this a yearly event.

We want to thank our sponsors, Glacier Raft Co., Kalispell Regional Healthcare, Truby’s at Meadow Lake Resort, Great Northern Brewing, Sweet Peaks, George’s Distributing, and Hungry Horse Liquor Store. The donations from these generous businesses made the event possible.

Our great group of volunteers stepped up to take care of all the tasks associated with running the event. Thanks so much every one of you.

Gateway to Glacier Trail is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to completing a separated shared-use bike and pedestrian path from Columbia Falls to West Glacier. To date, we have funded the path from Coram to West Glacier and are now focusing on the section from Columbia Falls to Bad Rock Canyon.

Join us as we work on this important addition to the Flathead and join us for our next fun event, Pints for Paths, at Heavens Peak Restaurant in West Glacier on Saturday, July 12. For more information, visit online at www.gatewaytoglaciertrail.com. Thanks again to everyone.
