Book by Bigfork writer receive accolades
Mack W. Borgen’s Book, The Relevance of Reason has been named runnerup as
The Best Business Book of the Year At The 2014 Los Angeles Book Festival.
The book presents fascinating data about American business, commerce, industry, resources, politics, elections, governance, taxation and the media. The book was written because, in the opinion of the author, it is “one of the great paradoxes of modern life, in our Age of Information, (that) facts themselves are hard to find.” Borgen’s second book, The Relevance of Reason – Society and Culture was released in October, 2013. It presents facts and data about many other aspects of American life – crime and punishment, laws and litigation, housing, education, health, and American life, entertainment, religion and culture.
The award for Borgen’s book, The Relevance of Reason – Business and Politics, will be presented at an awards ceremony at the Roosevelt Hotel, in Hollywood, California on Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Mack W. Borgen was born in Kalispell, Montana. He now resides in Bigfork, Montana and Santa Barbara, California and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (With Honors in Economics) and Harvard Law School.
