Endowment thanks

| May 5, 2014 8:00 AM

The trustees of the Columbia Falls High School Alumni-Community Academic Endowment extend to the community our sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the support given to our first annual art showcase and fundraiser May 1st.

The gathering of enthusiastic and generous supporters at Truby’s Fine Food and Spirits at Meadow Lake was a huge boost to us and laid a great foundation for our goal — to create and enhance excellence and opportunity for the students of Columbia Falls High School now and in years to come.

Special appreciation is due to the generous donors of art, services, merchandise, collectibles, desserts and cash from the talented people and supportive businesses and residents of this fabulous community.

Being at this venue was like having a community all-star assembly. And to the fantastic Columbia Falls High School students who provided entertainment and art works and lent energy and valuable floor assistance to the auctions — you made us proud and validated our confidence in this community’s young citizens.

Thank you auctioneer Michael Robison — you rock. And lastly, to Kristen Voisen of Truby’s, whose enthusiasm, hospitality and support in staging and hosting the gathering were pure adrenaline to us — you are a treasure. Thank you all.

The Columbia Falls High School Alumni-Community Academic Endowment trustees, Jeff Henning, president, and trustees Bill Dakin, Alyson Dorr, Denise Falkner, high school principal Scott Gaiser, Tara Norick, Cami Stolte, Rich Thompson and Vicki Wirkus.
