Cat-Dog smoker

The annual Cat-Dog Boxing Smoker to benefit the Glacier Twins baseball team is set for Monday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at Memorial Field in Whitefish. Thirteen bouts are scheduled with Columbia Falls and Whitefish student athletes — both boys and girls boxing in three one-minute rounds. Ringside seating is $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. General admission is $10 in advance or $12 at the gate. Tickets are available at Hill Brothers in Whitefish, Sportsman & Ski Haus in Whitefish and Kalispell, Napa Auto Parts in Whitefish, and Kelly’s Pub & Casino in Columbia Falls.

Hole in one

Todd Jarvis, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, aced the 136-yard 16th hole at Meadow Lake Resort on May 8. He used a pitching wedge and was witnessed by Lois Jarvis.
