Twins win a pair against Prospects

The Glacier Twins A team stayed on the winning track last week, sweeping an American Legion baseball doubleheader against the Missoula Prospects A team on May 24 at Memorial Field in Whitefish.

Vinny Smith, Kyler Howke and Austin Robbins each had two hits for the Twins (7-3) in the opener, an 11-4 victory. The Twins tallied five runs in the fourth inning.

Howke, Colton Gove and Jayce Fagerland had three hits each and Nic Muus and Dakota Bridwell had two each in the second game, a 7-1 victory. The Twins led 6-1 after three innings. Gove, Fagerland and Howke doubled. Hitting triples were Gove and Muus.

The Twins host the Butte Miners for a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game starts at 4 p.m.
