Flathead County 2014 primary elections
June 3 is the primary election and voters will be asked to determine who will be our next leaders in Flathead County.
For the primary election, voters are required to vote Democrat or Republican. The outcome will determine the candidates who will be on the ballot in November. At that time voters can vote for candidates in any party.
People who are not registered to vote must appear in person at the Flathead County Election Department (now located in the Country Fair Kitchen Building at the county fairgrounds) and fill out a voter registration card. Voters may do this up through election day.
All absentee ballots must be returned to the election department by 8 p.m. on election day to Flathead County Election Department, 800 S. Main, Kalispell. For information call 758-5535.
If you do not know where to vote, one way to find your polling place or to find out if you are registered is to go to the “my voter page” at the Montana Secretary of State website.
All voters are required to show one form of identification at the polls on election day.
