Columbia Falls swimmers Colton Babcock and Zayne Friar have been swimming well for the Wave Ryders swim team.

The two recently competed in the Missoula MAC Fall Invitational on Nov. 7-9. Babcock won the 100-yard butterfly, took second in the 200, 50 and 500-yard freestyle, took second in the 50 breaststroke, and took third in the 100-yard breaststroke. Babcock set new club records in the 100 butterfly, the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle.

Friar also improved his times and score in the same events, but his placements were not available. Both swimmers are expected to compete in the new Columbia Falls High School swim team this season.
